A deep love for the planet underscores Magniflex’s corporate philosophy, and the Company wants to actively contribute to safeguarding the environment and its inhabitants. Given the keen interest shown by the brand towards sustainability issues, it was only natural for us to endorse the Sustainable Development Goals, a project developed and strongly advocated by the United Nations which has set 17 fundamental points to ensure that all the Earth’s inhabitants can enjoy a better and more sustainable future. One of the program’s main goals is to guarantee that everyone has access to cheap, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy systems.   By 2030, when the program is scheduled to end, one of the several goals is to double the global rate of improvement in energy efficiency, providing guaranteed access to energy services that are convenient, reliable, and modern, as well as to achieve a sizeable increase in the share of renewable energy sources used to produce the total energy we globally consume.  

A concrete commitment towards planet Earth

For all these objectives not to remain only noble ideas, everyone’s help and action are necessary. That is the reason why we have decided to actively contribute to the cause, initiating a business policy that aims to optimize production by reducing costs and energy waste.   How? With a series of concrete commitments that involve various aspects of our organization, from the energy we use to power our manufacturing plants – which is obtained from renewable energy sources for the most part – to the methods we apply in the transportation of our products – which help to considerably lower the emission of polluting substances – all the way to the adoption of a virtuous cycle that makes it possible for more than 95% of the special waste produced to be used in a recycling process for its reutilization as opposed to its disposal.   Our commitment to a more sustainable future has always been our conception of doing business, which is why we simply couldn’t help but become enthusiastic sponsors of the ambitious goals set by the Sustainable Development Goals project of the United Nations so that we can leave a more habitable world to our future generations.
